World Water Day

The World Water Day (2006): The United Nations General Assembly designated 22 March of each year as the World Day for Water by adopting a resolution. In 2006, Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources appointed PromoOman to create a national awareness campaign among Omanis and expats. The “World Water Day” raised attention to water related issues through different press media and a dedicated song, created by PromoOman in Arabic. This recorded song with the subtitles in English was presented in a number of international conferences along with the campaign and had a positive impression among all the international participants.
